These fields are intended to reduce a common dating problem for healthcare workers: two people may be interested but repeatedly message while the other person is sleeping, commuting, in clinicals, or recovering after work. The signals help explain availability without requiring anyone to publish an exact employer schedule.
Control workplace visibility
Healthcare identity and employer identity are not the same thing. A member may want to show a general profession while hiding a facility, department, school, or exact workplace. Nurse Singles includes profile controls designed around that distinction.
Verification can add context when information has been reviewed, but the badge must not be read as a background check or a promise about future conduct. Members should still use blocking, reporting, video introductions, public first meetings, and their own judgment.
Discover people with more than a photo
Discovery can use profile preferences and healthcare-life signals such as shift type, location, interests, intentions, workplace boundaries, and verification state. Those signals are meant to make the first decision more informed; they do not decide whether two people should date.
Members can pass, like, or use other available discovery actions. Daily limits depend on plan and platform. The app should clearly explain a limit when it is reached rather than implying that an unavailable action succeeded.

Room themes help members find a relevant starting point, but the conversation remains personal rather than clinical.
